Six screens are fixed onto a steel frame. The moment of a body walking with feet on the ground; a movement traversing the road, translated into a blue dot on a digital device; and the recorded movement of a satellite—these three, each doubled, play across six distinct videos. Body, sign, signal. The movement we experience daily passes through these three layers.

The screens do not face one another; each hangs turned in its own direction. Standing before one screen, the others are out of view. To move from one to the next, the viewer must walk—and that act of walking overlaps with the walking that repeats within the screens themselves. The speed of walking, the speed of the blue dot’s movement, and the speed of the satellite each differ, and the eye moving between screens follows those differences in speed. In fact, the slowest footstep appears, on screen, as the fastest movement.

Hanging within the same frame does not make them one continuous thing. They exist at different speeds, in different places. And yet, the three are connected. The position of the body becomes a point on a map only by passing through a satellite.
